What people are saying...

"Still the best restaurant in El Dorado County. I had the Paella and my wife had the seafood special. Both were cooked to perfection. As usual, the service was impeccable. This was a celebration for my wife's birthday and she was pleased with the choice."

About Our Menu

Sequoia has a new menu! In essence it caters to today's budget-conscious diners, but in selection, the new menu is more generous and inviting. It offers a greater variety of items, now organized by main ingredients, as well as add-ons where you can add choices like grilled salmon ($4) to a meal or entrée, or to a salad for creating your own light meal. For families, there's a new children's menu. Also, you can order main selections, for example Pork Marsala or Lamb Dijonaise as full dinners ($13 and $17) or as entrees ($10 and $14).

David Bagley, Sequoia's General Manager, says: "We've created a menu that fits all moods, styles and budgets. It's not only flexible and family friendly, it remains consistent to the Sequoia experience of acclaimed food served with style in this lovely 1853 Victorian mansion." And history supports the new menu style which reflects menus of grand restaurants of yesteryear, such as San Francisco's Blue Fox and New York's Delmonico's whose menus were straightforward, easy to understand, and filled with abundant selections at every price level.
