You've never planned a wedding? Much less your own!? Our wedding and events planner is here to help. Even if you have only vague ideas, call and schedule a time with us for a consultation—at no charge.
We'll give you a tour of Sequoia, and we promise you'll begin to see the possibilities. Let us share our photo albums of past weddings and receptions. Pictures always help visualize what you may like. Take advantage of the vast experience of our planning staff. We'll help you focus your own unique style into wedding plans that—come your once-in-a-lifetime day—will make your dreams come true.
As soon as you have your date, call us! Many weddings at Sequoia are booked a year in advance or longer. But whenever your date is, we will most likely be able to accomodate your plans.
Before meeting with us, it's a good idea to have thought through the following basic items. Don't worry, we can help you fill in the details.
1. The approximate the size of your guest list. This will help us determine how much space you'll need to rent and the food and beverage costs.
2. Both wedding and reception? Most brides do it all here at Sequoia to take advantage of package deals and to make it convenient for guests who travel. But perhaps you will want something different...
3. Fancy grand? Simple elegance? Informal festive fun? How BIG are you thinking? And how formal? We can accomodate your wildest dreams as well as your modest ones.
4. Your basic budget. What matters is that you get the optimum value. We promise to help you get as much for your available budget as we possibly can. If you don't know your budget and just want to check out prices, we will happily chat with you to help you get a clearer picture.
5. DIY or enlist help? Brides want their wedding and reception to be their own. To reflect their unique style and wishes. Some brides are do-it-yourselfers and enjoy making all the plans and preparations—even putting together floral arrangements and decorations—themselves. Others enlist the help of paid services and vendors. Tell us your preference and we'll match it. We can handle everything for you, or simply nudge you in a good direction according to your thinking. In other words, if you know exactly what you want and how to get it before meeting with us, wonderful. Tell us how we can serve you best. If not, we'll show you the options and help you put together a package that suits your level of personal involvement and available time.
