Sequoia is a splendid place to begin a lifelong romance with the one you love. Over the years, Sequoia has afforded brides and grooms many options for their special ceremony of a lifetime.
The Lawn
|
One favorite ceremony location is Sequoia's front lawn and garden area. Guests are seated near the lily pond and gently splashing fountain under the shade of a giant sequoia tree—the perfect ceremonial backdrop. The groom and groomsmen and bridesmaids can enter the scene descending Sequoia's front staircase, making their way down the aisle. Anticipation grows to see the bride appear on the stairs. She can make a splendid entrance here, or delight the wedding party with her entrance by horse-drawn carriage down Sequoia's circular drive. (photo: Lisa Richmond Photography)

The Patio
|

A more intimate outdoor setting is Sequoia's patio. Here is a more enclosed feel, more intimate and for smaller gatherings. Another giant sequoia provides a dramatic focal point at one end of the flagstone terrace. Stylish tables can also be set up here for guests to witness the ceremony and then enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Sequoia's executive chef.

Victoria Hall
|

Inside Sequoia, climb the beautifully carved wood staircase to Victoria Hall. This beautiful room seats up to 60 guests for your ceremony.
This flexible space with pearl colored walls suits itself to almost any style of wedding decor. It is private and intimate and can, if you like, instill a chapel-like atmosphere to your ceremony.
Victoria Hall also seats 45 comfortably at banquet tables, somewhat fewer at round tables. With this setup, you can have a table-side marriage ceremony and afterward a delicious celebratory luncheon or fine dinner served by our staff to your guests.

The Cedar Boardroom
|
Smaller than Victoria Hall, the Cedar Boardroom is more intimate and can hold 30 guests for a ceremony and wedding meal.

Empire Ballroom
|
A large and dramatic space with high ceilings and exposed timbered rafters. It can seat up to 200 guests. Wedding ceremony options here include table-side or, for more formality, on the stage. Depending on the number of guests, the Empire Ballroom can be set up to accommodate a ceremony with rows of chairs near the stage surrounded by dinner tables for lunch or dinner immediately afterwards. For large groups, guests can sit at tables to observe the ceremony. The room is large with flexible furnishings to fit almost any setup preferred. (photo: Mary Gillespie Photography)
